Overview of Edirisa's travels

Edirisa organises cultural and educational tours to fund its developmental initiatives and create local employment. Our tours are geared towards young people looking for budget options, however, with accommodation upgrades they can be a great deal for anyone. Our main offer is 15 Days of Budget Uganda, a modular tour that can be taken as a whole or in parts. With some exceptions it runs every first and third Sunday in the month. A very special part of 15 Days is a three-day Canoe trekking - a combination of dugout canoes and hiking around Lake Bunyonyi, far away from touristy areas. Another module within 15 Days is a three-day safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a chance to see the unique tree-climbing lions - perhaps the only comfortable option for budget travellers to enjoy the park to its fullest, including chimp tracking. If you are looking for a nice way to skip the dreaded bus ride between Kampala (Uganda's capital) and Kabale/Lake Bunyonyi, you can consider a visit to Lake Mburo National Park or Ssese Islands, also a part of 15 Days. We can also prepare a gorilla tracking trip, a motor boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi or tailor-made packages for schools in Uganda and abroad.
