|Accommodation at The Home|
|The Home of Edirisa in the centre of Kabale Town includes a hostel arranged around a cultural museum (a free museum tour included). All rooms have mosquito nets and hot showers are available. |
Advance booking is highly recommended as we are a boutique operation with merely 14 beds.
The rooms have names and paintings from a traditional homestead.
The dormitory with ten beds is called Entarure - based on the raised bed for the married couple under which goats are kept. USh 15,000/6 dollars per person.
The twin room is called Ekishengye - it got its name from the communal pot for drinking beer. USh 30,000/12 dollars for the room.
The single room is called Esanga - it is tiny enough to resemble the traditional umbrella. USh 20,000/ 8 dollars for the room.
The comfortable double is called Orunyegye - the witchdoctor's rattle. The room has its own toilet while the shower is shared, located just around the corner. USh 40,000/16 dollars for the room.
Discounts for longer stays are possible.
